Roots and Heritage with Laura: Celebrating Italian-Legacy in Weber County

In this episode, we sit down with Laura, a passionate advocate for preserving the rich cultural history of Weber County, Utah. Laura shares her deep connection to the Italian American community, tracing her family's journey from Wyoming coal miners and farmers to settling in West Ogden in the early 1900's.

We dive into her work with the Weber County heritage foundation, an organization dedicated to celebrating the diverse communities that built the county, which include Italian, Greek, Latina, Japanese and Shoshoni to name a few. She gives us an inside look at the People of Weber County, and their exciting upcoming event on June 28th, that honors these cultures with food, crafts, music and stories.
